REI has set the industry standards for inclusive sizing in the outdoors, but before the Wonderland chair, our gear did not meet those same standards.
By using anthropometric data from Alvanon, the seat width was adjusted to accommodate the same lower hip width as our 3x-4x clothing. After our testing team confirmed it still lived up to our rigorous 3x 300 lbs weight rating, we delivered the first of many more inclusive gear items.
